The third meeting of Heads Anti-Corruption entities in the GCC countries has started today, Tuesday 16/2/2016 in the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
H.E. the President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission welcomed the guests in his speech and said “through this meeting and previous meetings, we strive to achieve the aspirations of our leaders in order protecting integrity and fighting corruption, through what we offer of proposals, and working on preparing effective mechanisms in applying them, especially, in the field of exchanging experiences.
The meeting will discuss the recommendations on the proposals and discussed by undersecretaries of* Anti-Corruption entities in GCC countries in the meeting which was held in Riyadh 5/1/2016 which addressed a number of issues related to the protection of integrity and fighting corruption in the GCC countries, and the exchange of expertise in between anti- corruption entities in GCC countries, in addition to joining the UNCAC the meeting will also discuss the proposals made by those entities
