المصدر - *The growth of Mixed**Martial Arts in Bahrain was highlighted in the recent IMMAF world championships, where flyweight amateur Fahad Abdulrazaq won a bronze medal competing against the world’s elite.
Now Bahrain MMA is set to stage a groundbreaking four-week summer camp, which will focus on the physical and mental development of children aged 5-14.
The camp will run from*July 28th-August 18th, integrating mixed martial arts training with arts and creativity, and environmental awareness.
This will be the first camp of its kind and will be held at BMMA’s gym, with their partners KHK MMA providing professional trainers to oversee the development and well-being of each participant.
The camp will run from*Thursday*to*Sunday, with classes running from*9am-1pm*and the camp will culminate in a friendly competition and presentation.
Children in attendance will be enrolled into a three-cycle program which is designed to shape their bodies and minds as competitive, positive community influencers.
Those three cycles will be:
*BODY- The Pit (Learn and Grow) - Strength and Fitness Conditioning using basic and intermediate level MMA techniques, cross-fit, integral training and HIIT.
*MIND- The Warriror’s Way (Control and Appreciate) - Philosophy of the disciplines, practice of arts as an integrated part of the martial ar-tist.
*SOUL- Code of Honor (Give and Protect) - Defense of good causes, environmental consciousness, proper usage of martial arts.
